This book was issued in the context of the exhibition Canvas Encounters – Encounters on Canvas (1 August - 15 October 2024) designed and curated by Iris Tzachili and Dimitra Douskou.
Alissa at the crossroads is an award-winning story of the call for European Stories, within the framework of the European Heritage Days 2024, organized by the European Commission and the Council of Europe. The exhibition, the actions surrounding it and this publication have been co-financed and are under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Hellenic Republic. The exhibition was also under the auspices of the High Commission of the UNHCR for the refugees.

A learning training guide for the staff of cultural venues
This particular training guide has been created by the Herakleidon Museum and it is a detailed guide to be used as a training tool for cultural staff across different types of museums, art venues and cultural organisations, in order to create spaces, exhibitions, events and to inspire an innovative vision that is in line with the needs of the pwD and their carers.
This whole guide can function as a valuable tool to inspire new ways of viewing what a cultural organisation has to offer to the pwD community and their carers.
